Gracefuleye Photography is a locally-owned photography company in Arlington Heights, IL, owned by Lenn Grayes, also a local resident of Arlington Heights, IL.
Specializing in photography of young children, my sole focus is on the beautiful subject, the kids themselves, in a preschool/daycare setting, and creating a fun, genuine experience for the little ones. Together, we create images that the parents will love. As a Mom myself, I know how fleeting these moments are, and pictures are all I have to remind me of my little one.
From newborns to early childhood students, a relationship is built and it shows in the final images. I focus on building relationships with the tiniest of humans, who change so much over the course of just a few months.
Also, I work very closely with the school staff to create a fun and relaxed portrait session for each child.
Parents never have to decide how many photos they will purchase before they see the images. I offer families an easy online ordering system, where parents can browse their children’s portraits, and place print and product orders at their leisure.
This experience will provide timeless portraits that families will treasure for a lifetime.

who is gracefuleye photography?
Hi! I'm Lenn, the one leading this one-woman operation. gracefuleye is a play on my last name, Grayes, and I combined that with the greatest tool a photographer can have, their creative eye.
My small business was born out of my passion for natural, minimalist style photography. I realised that no one near my area was offering the simple style of photography that I love. I‘m also really inspired by Scandinavian Minimalism and I wanted the photographs to reflect this.
I have masses of patience and a real affinity with babies and new parents. I have a beautiful, kid-friendly studio outside one of Chicago's northern suburbs, and I can’t wait to welcome you to it.

1. No need to make extra appointments.
Drop your little ones off at school like any normal day. I'm here to make this experience easy and relaxed.
2. IT'S SESSION DAY!
Once the Director and I have established the Picture Day for the school, be sure to register your child for convenient email and text reminders.
3. Enjoy your portraits.
About 3 weeks after your session, you will receive your own private gallery, where you can order digital files or print products.
